At the Ethical Communicator, we seek to help clients reach greater efficacy and success by elevating their communication intelligence and competency. As social creatures, we cannot help but communicate. Our posture, eye roll, or, grin, communicate just as much as our words. Even when we don’t intend to insult, offend or hurt, our communication sometimes produces exactly that: misunderstanding, hurt and damaged relationships, personally and professionally. Unfortunately, intent does not always translate into the right word, facial expression or tone of voice. To harmonize intent with effect, one needs to develop and improve communicative intelligence, which is the ability to adapt one’ s communication style and approach to diverse audiences and contexts.
